I can recommend Wave Repair, its shareware and easily removes background hiss/hum, crackles and puts back the sparkle! It also compresses sound easily. To get the best you should leave a bit of silence at the beginning. It uses this (by inverting the sample) to remove background noise. The difference can be amazing. Great site byw!

greetings James ... 68 downloads with no complaint about the password would suggest to me that it does work ... ensure that you have copy&pasted ylow.blogspot.com correctly ... failing that, i would suggest that the download is corrupt in some way. or incomplete & would recommend redownloading it
