Kiko Sparkle Touch
I just realized I didn't even post this one, even though I wore it a couple of weeks ago; shame on me! This is one of the polishes that I picked up when we went polish hunting in Germany. I believe it only has a number, but since there's a sticker on the cap saying 'sparkle touch', I decided to call this post that way :P
Kiko #2 Sparkle Touch, two coats over Ciaté Fun Fair in daylight. Kiko #2 Sparkle Touch is a glitter topper in a clear base that's packed with hex glitter and a few smaller particles. The glitters remind me of fish scales or something.. They flash between pink and aqua, which is kinda cool. I have to add that this looks a bit dull in my pic and it looks way more sparkly irl. It's to sheer to use alone, but could just spice up a slightly boring mani..
Application was good and I didn't have any issues with the drying time. Kiko polishes are available in Italy and in Kiko stores. I believe I only paid € 1,90 for a bottle of 11ml so that's a great deal! I picked up another Kiko that I will be showing you soon as well :)

Some Maybelline, China Glaze, Dior, and ORLY Swatches
Maybelline
Grand in Green is a blackened green which is quite similar to OPI's Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow. Grand in Green is darker than HTAT (in which HTAT shows more green)
Grey-T Glamour is a gray creme with little silver flecks. I really like this one :)
Applications for both of these were good. No complaints
China Glaze
Sunset Glow is a rosey pink mauve with hints of golden shimmer. Gorgeous color but some reason dry time was a little slow
Dior
Black Sequins is a black creme with silver glitter. I got this when it was restocked at Nordstrom, I believe it is not available anymore, but don't quote me :x
Orly
Bailamos is a bright aqua shimmer
Wild Wisteria is a deep purple creme
I've always loved Orly's formulas. Perfect and flawless
Well that's all I have for today, and as a bonus, since this post is so short, November 2nd was my dog Bebe's 10th birthday. And here is a picture of her "making a wish" on her birthday cake :D

Fimo Nail Art - The Latest Trend in Nail Art
There are a lot of designs that you can make on your finger nails and toe nails and one of the forms of nail art that has recently gathered many takers is the Fimo nail art.
In this nail art form, the polymer clay is used in the form of thin slices. Available in different sizes, colors and designs, these chips or slices are soft and fine and used to decorate nails. The canes of polymer are sliced using a razor so that perfect slices can be achieved.
Creating designs using fimo art is not easy. Creative designs are difficult to make and need professional designers to make them. However, you too can make simple ones if you try and have a look at some of the pictures available online. The designs can range from simple hearts to even detailed fruits and vegetables. The designs when embedded into nails with the help of paints and brushes look fabulous and enhance the beauty of the hands further.
It is important that your nails are properly shaped before you start with nail art. Acrylic nails can also be used if you do not have long nails. You can use these designer fimo canes on these acrylic nails too. You can also give a whole new look to your nails by wearing smart designs of nail art that make use of dried flowers, ceramic animals, rhinestones and other accessories like danglers. Match up your nail art design with your dress and look stunning.
You can buy some great acrylic or ceramic flowers and use them on your nails to create exclusive designs. Your nails will look beautiful and pretty and everyone would just keep looking at the amazing piece of art you created on your own.
Paints combined with small stickers and fimo cane slices give a stunning look to your hands and feet and have become a unique way of highlighting nails today. Make sure that you apply a base coat before you start making any designs on your nails. You can create simple designs as well as complex geometrical designs using all these accessories. Floral designs look good if you are going out for a formal party. If you are headed to a club for a friend's birthday bash, try out some funky designs.
To create basic designs with fimo cane slices, you need not be an expert. All you need to know is how to get the best combination of colors and how to put the accessories together so that they do not fall off. Try this new and exciting fimo nail art on your nails and get some pretty stares from everyone. Make sure you buy your nail art supplies from reputed online stores so that you get the best quality, variety and price.

RBL Teal
How are you all today? Almost weekend! Today I have a polish for you that I've tried on a little while ago; RBL Teal. I couldn't capture her beauty very well, but I'll tell you more about that later.
RBL Teal, two coats in daylight. Teal is as the name suggest; teal (wow, surprise!). The color is a little darker than the picture suggests. This was caused by the reflection of the polish. This polish is so extremely shiny! The reflections of the sky and the room I take pictures in kept showing up on my nails lol. I have like 25 pictures with myself on my nails!
Application on this one was a dream. The polish went on nice and smooth and dried pretty quickly. Since the polish is well pigmented, it may even be suitable for Konad - but I'd have to check that. The following picture shows less reflections:
I think this one is more color accurate than the first picture.
I really like this color. There are a lot of teal polishes out there, but this one is a little dusty so I guess that's why I like it so much :)
What do you think of RBL Teal?

Orly Enchanted Forest
It's weekend again!! What are your plans? Today I have a gorgeous polish for you once again: Orly Enchanted Forest. This is, like Pixie Dust, a part of the Once Upon A Time Collection. I have taken lots of pics and it took me quite some time to narrow it down to these five. You know now that I like to post a lot of pics, right? Here we go!
Orly Enchanted Forest, two coats in different lightings. Oh man, this is one hell of a forest green creme! It's so hot. It's one of those dark greens that don't look black. I really think Orly is one of those brands that don't get the love they deserve, like some brands have polishes that don't get the right amount of love. I really love those Orly polishes. I haven't found an Orly polish that I didn't like yet. Back to Enchanted Forest. This incredibly pretty green polish is so shiny, it doesn't even need topcoat! I can see my own reflection in the polish lol. I love this so much. Application on this one was very good. The polish was not too thick or too thin, just good. Drying time was quick so I really don't have any complaints on this one! It actually has a bonus.. The cute little butterfly charm! I didn't get all the charms of the Once Upon a Time collection, but I think they're so cute.
What do you think or Enchanted Forest? Are there polishes or brands that should get more love? Tell me about it!
I wish you all a great weekend.

China Glaze The Ten Man
How are you doing today? I have one of the China Glaze Wizard Of Ooh Ahz Returns collection again for you; The Ten Man this time.
China Glaze The Ten Man, four coats in daylight. The Ten Man is a frosty silver with tiny silver glitters in it. Very interesting finish! The Ten Man is not really my cup of tea since I'm not really into frosts, but I like the twist with the glitters.
Application was a bit tricky. The polish was a bit runny which caused some cuticle flooding. When I saw that, I tried to be more careful and keep more distance between the polish and my cuticle and everything went alright. Opacity isn't that great; four coats to be opaque and I still have some spots where you can see my nail line.
To spice it up, I did a little konad.
China Glaze The Ten Man stamped with China Glaze Adore and imageplate M60. It's a pretty subtle konad, which I like :) I'm sorry about the quality of this picture but in my better pictures, the konad didn't show up that well so I decided to go with this one.
What do you think of The Ten Man?

New Layout!
It's finally there, my new blog layout! As you can see, I decided to do something completely different and thanks to Michèle's help I finally put it together today :)
There are changes in color (obviously), but also in the setup of this layout. I now have seperate tabs for different pages and I will be adding one or two more tabs in the next couple of days.
Also, I also added Formspring to my blog. Feel free to ask me anything!
There are a ton of changes behind the scenes, which you will probably not even notice but those changes will make me easier to find through google and such.
Feel free to say what you think of my new blog layout by commenting on this post :)
Subtle Konad
Today I have a short post for you with a mani that I wore last week for a couple of days. It's not my best pic, since it was taken under artificial lighting and pre-cleanup, but I liked this a lot so I thought I'd might as well show you :)
RBL Bruised stamped with China Glaze Joy and imageplate M64. The colors aren't really accurate, so I'll post pics of RBL Bruised alone in decent lighting in the near future.
I really like the subtle effect of this konadicure. China Glaze Joy is in the same color range as RBL Bruised. Joy is a part of the China Glaze Romantique Collection and works great for stamping, as does the rest of this collection.
What do you think of subtle konadicures? Do you like them or are you more into more visible Konad?

Holographic Gone Chic
Those of you who follow me on twitter, might have seen a little preview of this since I uploaded a sneak peek of this manicure yesterday, but if not; I have a konadicure for you! I really like it, I'm loving these kind of patterns. Anyway, enough with the babbeling, on to the pics!
Color Club Worth The Risque, stamped with Color Club Wild At Heart and Bundle Monster imageplate BM20. Worth The Risque is a silver holographic polish, and you have to believe me when I say the holo shows up more in real life.
The Bundle Monster plates are really nice, but they do have one downside. Because there are more images on one plate, the images are smaller. This is a full nail plate, but I had to stamp all my fingernails at least twice - even my pinkie! But the design is lovely and double stamping worked out in the end :)
And, because I like this so much, two more bonus pics!
It's too bad that the holo in Wild At Heart won't show up when you stamp with it though, it would have been awesome if this showed you holo on holo effect!
What do you think of this konadicure?
Thanks for stopping by!

Gel Nails - Get the Latest Selection of Colored UV Gels
The gel is usually transparent, pink or white to mimic the natural nail color. The shine and finish on application usually eliminates the need to use nail polish. However, if you prefer colored nails to flaunt your beautiful manicure and pedicure, the best way to do it would be with colored UV gels that are available in a wide range of colors to suit the season, mood or your outfit. These also last longer than over the counter nail polish.
An experienced nail tech will first prepare your nails and get them to the desired shape and length. A thin layer of the colored gel of your choice is then applied from the cuticle to the tip of the nail, using the correct gel brush. Using a big brush will help spread the gel faster and better. The nail is then cured under a UV light for 2-3 minutes or as recommended by the manufacturer. The tacky extras are removed with a remover or wiping solution.
If you desire an intense color, you can always apply 2-3 layers of gel and cure. Finish by applying a top coat to seal in the shine and prevent the gel from peeling or chipping. Done correctly, your clients are always going to ask you for colored UV gels and will forget the nail polish.
This season, you can stock up on color gels like Carmine, Emerald, and Tomato Red to go with your outfits. These colors will add the warmth to the winter chill. You can also select the glitter, metallic and silver colored gels for the party animal in you. It will add the much needed glitz and glam to the simplest of outfits. You can also go in for the pearly, pure or pastel gel shades for a more demure look. If you are a teenager, you can go bold by sporting the neon gels to get that attention and match the funky clothes. Whatever your personality type, you will find your match in color UV gels.
As a nail professional, you will also notice greater acceptance among your clients to the color gels when they discover the superior qualities in them. These gels require the same maintenance as regular gel nails and can easily be applied and removed. You just have to make sure that the gel is mixed well with a spatula before application. This allows the color to spread better and evenly.
Indulge in colored UV gels once and you will certainly use them time and again.
Take advantage of our great Gel-Nails offers and deals every week and update yourself with what's the latest and the most popular in the gel nails trend.
