Zoya Charla And Holiday Announcement

Hi all!

Today I have Zoya Charla for you from the Sparkle Collection for 2010. Most people I know think this is the stunner of the collection. I disagree, Ivanka is way prettier in my opinion, but Charla sure is pretty!

Charla is a blue green glass flecked polish. It flashes a bit of gold and is more green than my pictures show it, but it's really really gorgeous. I am actually wearing this on my toes right now :D

Application is good. The polish is a little on the thin side, so I needed three coats for opacity but my pictures still show a little visible nail line. Drying time is good.

Such a lovely sparkle must be mattified.

I also want to tell you that in exactly 12 hours time, I will be on a plane to Spain. I have prepared posts that will be posted automatically, so you won't have to miss daily posts. These will be a little shorter than you are used to though.. However, because I'm on a holiday, I will not be able to come online and answer any of your comments, questions or emails. I can't respond to any messages about my blogsale either, so please bear with me. I will try to be up and running as soon as possible when I get back, but in the meantime I hope you'll have patience with me :)

For those of you who will go on a holiday soon, I hope you have a great holiday! And thank you all for your understanding :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Zoya Charla (Sparkle Collection 2010)

When I try new polishes I either like them, don´t or like them a lot but it rarely happens that a polish attacks my Top 10. Well Zoya Charla got right into my Top 3!!! This is the perfect mermaid color I have been searching for a long time. It looks so great on. I am staring at my nails all day :) Do you think if I paint it on my toes I will grow a mermaid tail? More than my crappy description I hope the pictures will give you an idea of how stunning it is. Thank you Zoya for making this polish!
P.S. you still didn´t buy one? Well what are you waiting for?!

It looks like magic in the bottle:

Characteristics of Japanese nail art fashion design

There is little doubt that Japan, as a fashion community is ranked about the very top. It is a country where fashion is unique, creative, stylish and advanced. This statement extends to nail art. Let's take a look at some of the interesting characteristics of Japanese Nail Art.
Japanese Nail Art

Regardless of the different opinions, the culture has spread even to the US. One of the main characteristics of Japanese nail art is its extreme length. They are at least 2 inches in length and have been regarded to be impractical. Can you imagine trying to go about performing your daily jobs such as typing and eating?

However, if you think that Japanese nail art is impractical, think again because the Japanese have gone as far as to create accessories for wearers of these 2 inch nail extensions to assist them in performing a myriad of tasks. As an example, there have been gloves for golfers wearing these extensions which actually means allowing space for the extensions one way or another.

Regardless of the differing opinions, there should be a common denominator where most would likely agree upon and that is the creativity and skill of these artists. Using acrylic nail chips, the most common techniques would be hand painting and airbrushing to create 2D designs and even 3D designs by incorporating other accessories such as jewelry, charms and sculpture powder.
I personally find Japanese nail art very intriguing and fascinating. It has been introduced in the US albeit a little slow. Do you have what it takes to adorn them?
