The Beauty of 3D Nail Art

Visiting Vancouver nails salon weekly is a routine for me. I like to keep my nails clean and well cared for. That includes having great color and crafted with the very fashionable Vancouver Japanese nail art.

I visit different nail salons here in my place to see which has the best service. I am quite meticulous in regards to how they deliver and most especially the quality of the service. Because I consider myself as a very fashionable person and I would like to keep up with the trend, I can say that keeping a lifestyle like this needs careful investigation. Although I am not that fussy about perfect detail, I just like to make sure that I feel and look good.

Nowadays, I am fond of Vancouver 3D nails. I like how it looks because they are pretty and they give much personality. It's like they have their own statement of who I am so they need to keep up with my expectations.

These designs are like a window to my being. I like to dress up differently almost everyday according to the needs of parties or events, latest fashion trends and mood. These designs enable me to emphasize what look I am trying to portray. Like when I am in the mood to wear gothic clothes then a design with skulls or black flame would be appropriate. The same goes when a get-together needs me to wear a particular costume or get-up then I have to match the needs of that outfit with my nails. So, I visit different Vancouver nail salon in search for the best designs that show my personality.

Compared to color nail polish and regular Vancouver manicure and pedicure, the creativity of this art is just special. There is limitation to the conventional nail polish. Although it can be mixed with other colors making artistic drawings or art designs on the nail, Vancouver 3D nails emphasize the beauty of fine art and serve as an extension of my imagination. And being a 3-dimensional design, the materials used protrude from the nail; they pop out, unlike the usual color nail polish.

The things utilized in designing the nails are small 3D objects made from sculpture powder that has been molded to the desired figure. Also, some of the bits used are 3D stickers like the ones found in scrapbooks although these are customized to fit the nail. Small gems and crystals are also used to add that luxurious look. After being airbrushed with paint, the acrylic nail chips become the slate wherein these objects are attached then voila! A fashion statement has been made customized according to my imagination, of course.

I like having them and showing them off to my friends because they make me feel attractive, fashionable, and artistic. So whenever a party comes, after I have done my hair and make-up, I go down to the nearest nail salon to fix up. After getting a Vancouver manicure, I head to the artists that handle the designs and rig up my beautiful nails with fashion motivated art.

When I don´t know...

...what polish to pick. Yesterday it was so hard. I usually at least know if I want a pink or a purple or a blue, but this time I didn´t know. So I chose China Glaze Purple Panic - a polish between purple and pink and decorated it with blue stamping. Again I used Bundle Monster image plate and the polish was Color Club Emerald Depths. Do you also have trouble picking the right polish like me? Hope you have a great weekend :)

The acrylic on this is from the dazzlers collection on artglitter.com. I just did a random swirly design with three colors and added 3d flowers on the top. I really enjoyed going crazy on these nails.

ManGlaze Week Day 3: Nail Art with Matte-Astrophe

Today I have some nail art for you. I started with China Glaze Joy as a base and then layered with Color Club Wild and Willing. This polish is really special, just look at the effect. Then I stamped with China Glaze Joy and image plate M63. At the end I put Matte-Astrophy. This time it didn´t cracle. How do you like this? :)

Dnes pro vás mám nějaký ten nail art. Jako základ jsem použila China Glaze Joy a na něj jsem dala jednu vrstvu Color Club Wild and Willing. Tenhle lak je opravdu výjimečný, jen se podívejte na to, jaký dělá efekt. Dneska jsem ale řádila ještě víc a orazítkovala zase China Glaze Joy a destičkou M63. Nakonec jsem ještě přidala Matte-Astrophy, který tentokrát nepopraskal. Jak se vám to líbí? :)

Orly Ginger Lily (Bloom Collection 2010)

The last Orly polish I have for you is Ginger Lily. This is not a creme, it has shimmer. I don´t like this one much, I think it doesn´t look very nice on me but I know a lot of you out there will love it. I used two coats and as with the previous polishes, no application problems. What I really love about Orly polishes is their rubber cap, it is so easy to handle, open and close. I hope you enjoyed these Orly polishes as much as I did :)

Poslední lak od Orly, který pro vás mám je Ginger Lily. Tentokrát to není krémovka, má jemné odlesky. Upřímně, se mi tenhle lak moc nelíbí. Mám pocit, že mi nesluší, ale jsem si jistá, že spousta z vás z něj bude nadšená. Mám zase klasicky dvě vrstvy a stejně jako předešlé Orly láčky, ani s tímhle nebyly problémy. Co mám na Orly lacích nejradši je jejich pogumovaný uzávěr. Skěle se s ním manipuluje. Doufám, že jste si ty Orly laky užili stejně jako já :)

Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees Suede

Hi all!

Het weekend is alweer bijna voorbij! Nog maar een paar uurtjes.. Hebben jullie nog leuke dingen gedaan? Ik was gisteren op een verjaardag en het 1jarige neefje van mijn vriend probeerde mijn nagellak er een kwartier lang af te krabben toen hij bij me op schoot zat hihi! Ik heb OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede met een laagje Diamont op, en blijkbaar is dat eigenlijk een beetje te opvallend ;). Het was wel ontzettend lief!

The weekend is almost over! Just a couple of hours left.. What did you do? I was on a birthday yesterday and the one year old nephew of my boyfriend tried to scratch off my nailpolish with his teenie tiny nails for about 15 minutes when he sat on my lap lol! I'm wearing OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede with a coat of Diamont and I think it was a little too obvious that I was wearing polish ;). It was very cute though!


OPI Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees Suede, twee laagjes in indirect zonlicht. Suzi is een prachtige donkergrijze of gungrey shimmer. Net als de overige suedes is de shimmer geweldig! De applicatie en droogtijd zijn zoals bij de andere lakken goed. Ik ben dol op gungreys en dit is geen uitzondering. Ze is geen dupe van Orly Iron Butterfly. Deze is donkerder en neigt meer naar zwart.

OPI Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees Suede, two coats in indirect sunlight. Suzi is a gorgeous dark or gungrey shimmer. Like the other suedes, the shimmer is incredible! Application and drying time are, just as with the other suede polishes, good. I love gungreys and this is no exeption. She is not a dupe of Iron Butterfly, which is a bit darker and leans more to black.

China Glaze Flyin’ High (Up & Away Collection 2010)

I love teal polishes and I love China Glaze. So it is not a suprise that I love this polish. It is a little bit greener than on my pictures, but not very much. I used two coats. The formula is slightly streaky but nothing major. This will for sure be one of my favourites for this sping!

Zbožňuju tyrkysové laky a stejně tak mám ráda i China Glaze. Takže asi nikoho nepřekvapí, že jsem nadšená i z tohoto laku. V eskutečnosti je trošku víc dozelena, než na mých fotkách, ale ne příliš. Mám dvě vrstvy a lakování bylo vpohodě, ikdyž lak je trošku řidší a v první vrstvě se trošku nerovnoměrně nanáší. Určitě jeden z favoritů letošního jara!
